Harry, I have no idea where this will lead us,
but I have a definite feeling it will be a place
both wonderful and strange.

The words of Special Agent Dale Cooper might reasonably be used to describe this memorable evening of film music presented by The Norwegians. I can't guarantee that there'll be backwards speech and dancing dwarves, and hopefully Bob won't show up, but I can promise an atmospheric experience that aesthetically and musically will take you back to that strange little town that was essential peak-time viewing in the early nineties.

Those of us who watched the show, whether we realised it or not, sat transfixed in front of our televisions largely because of Angelo Badalamenti's spellbinding compositions. The American's now legendary soundtrack underlined in bold every piece of weirdness in Lynch's vision.

I've appreciated the importance of this music to the series for a long time, and now both I and a few carefully-chosen colleagues take our audience back to that strange place that all of us of a certain age remember. The Norwegians have performed a handful of shows, including a sold out Parkteatret as well as Sentrum Scene in Oslo and Ole Bull in Bergen.

My fellow players are John Lilja, Ådne Sæverud, Eva Bjerga Haugen, Arild Hoem and Erlend Aasland. And in true Twin Peaks style, unannounced guests may also make an appearance on stage.

Remember: the owls are not what they seem…
